Le Salon Je t'aime en Chocolat

Last weekend I went to the event in MTL called Je t'aime en Chocolat at the Marché Bonsecours. If you are a chocolat lover, you have met your soulmate. This place was oozing chocolat! Renound chocolatiers from all over Quebec came to the event to share their knowledge and their love for chocolat. PLUS they had free samples and I've stuff my face with all the free chocolat. Chocolat de bruxelle had a chocolat mousse so fluffy it was really delicious, I had 4 shooter glasses of this stuff! It was also the best time to try macaroons. A macaroon is a treat made from almond paste, sugar and eggs and filled with a variety of flavors. The best one I had was coffee, than praline (hazelnut), caramel, rasberry, lemon, banana, pistachio. OHHH and they had free meringue!!!

A fashion show was also organized. First there was a show about hats made of chocolat and then one with clothes. WOW the talent of those designers and chocolatiers is amazing, here are some photos:

The ambiance was great. Hope they have another show!
