It's always a thrill to learn who is the killer! But, I've found out that sometimes the very first person the police talks to is usually the killer. ALSO the first suspect is never the murderer.
SPOILER ALERT!!!
Examples from CAstle, aired on Monday April 1st
A woman is killed and shoved in a dumpster. First person the police meets is the woman's husband. We later see that the husband was not the best person in the world and he proved that by KILLING HIS WIFE with his mistress.
Body of proof: Serial killer is hunting down college guys for their organs and stuff. First person we see is the roomate of the infected body (long story short: rabies were given to people who had a tissu transplant). with a little digging, we find that the roomat is a serial killer and he killed his friend because he knew about the killings.
CSI: some guy is found dead in the desert and he has equipment belonging to his friend. First thing the police does is to look for the friend. The dad opens the door and he is mean looking. Bla, bla, bla investigation and POOF we learn that the dead guy was gay and in love with his friend. The dad who does not approuve of his son's choices, decides to kill his friend. BOOM first person is the killer.
So the next time you watch these shows pay attention to the first person the police meet: husband, wife, sister, roomate, ANYTHING. And maybe you just solve the case before everybody and you have the mind of a writer.
