Nouveau projet de couture!

Après le succès mitigé de mon cosplay de Power Ranger Ninja Storm, j'ai décidé de me lancer dans un autre cosplay de Power ranger!
Roulement de tambour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cette idée est venu par accident...^^'
J'étais supposé faire une version humain du serpent pokemon Arbrok, mais le Club Tissu n'avait plus LE tissu mauve que je voulais.... Alors, j'ai fais un 180 degré et j'ai décidé d'attaquer un projet ÉVENTUEL, mais tout de suite!!

C'est pas pire, j'ai mon tissu et mes patron. Les leggings utilisent le même patron que celui du PRNS. Cependant, la robe est différente, car elle inclue le col. Enfin... Moi qui stresse quand je dépense beaucoup, j'ai pris un méchant coup quand le total était de 111 $. Je sais, le cosplay c'est couteux, mias c'est une première pour moi!

En tout cas, j'espère bien m'en tirer, j'ai déjà un plan et je vais sûrement porter ce cosplay au G-anime en janvier 2013!!

JC day 27: Purple cascade+Cosplay update

My power ranger costume is close to be finish!!! Here is the progress:

The black belt is made. The only things left are the arm plates, the hand squares, the belt buckle and the boot squares. My next project is Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time. Wig is bought and the fabric also. Just new to find a tutorial for the crown.

It's time to sew!

OK NOW! I have finally made up my mind. I will learn how to sew. You may remember a post about the joys of sewing a few months back and how I now feel for people how have to sew for a living. But now, I motivated to perfect my skills (beginner skills :P) and maybe start a past-time and finally make some cosplay.

My fisrt project is from Power Ranger or Super Sentai if you like and it will be Ninja Storm's light blue ranger AKA Tori

No helmet or sword for my first sewing project. I will have to find a way to do the blue wirst cuff and I'll have to find boots. Thank God for spray paint, because I don't think I'll be able to find those specific boots. I'll try to post my progress on Sweet Shinobi and also the final results! All for Montreal Comic Con! If I have time, I'll try to do Jungle Fury Yellow, but if not, probably the Progressive Girl Flo, she's awesome :)

In the spirit of cosplay, I want to show you what i've done so far. I'm a newbie in this fabulous world of costume playing and I have to say I would like to expand my knowledge. I really want to learn how to sew and take part in conventions, like Otakuthon, Anime North and eventually San diego ComicCon or Neew York ONE DAY!!!

So here are my creations:

Power rangers Samurai

Even if I'm 21, I still watch PR and still look it up on the web. I also loke Super Sentai, the inpseration for PR. I watch MMPR when I was little. I stop, because we didn't have to good channel. I started again in 7th grade with Power Rangers Ninja Storm (yay ninjas!) And I've been watching even since. Now, after Disney bought the right to the show, Saban bought them back and started making Power Rangers Samurai. I'm sorry to say this, but the actors are one of the most cheesiest rangers out there! All of them are captain obvious...I know, this show is for kids and tweens, but please! We had better acting 10 years ago even in Mystic Force the acting was better (not one of my favorites...)  Look there, up there, he distroyed the building, let's stop him, NO SHIT!

 I'm kind of disapointed with the results, because of the cheesy stuff, I stop watching for some time. I heard they were making 2 seasons of PRS instead of Goseiger and them jumping straight to Gokeiger (Pirates). I'm sorry be I really don't like Emily the yellow ranger, she looks fake. I meen, she drops a rock on Kevin's foot, yes she's sorry, but with a big smile???? fake. I'm a big japanese culture buff, but this series doesn't appeal to me... First time I saw the Red Ranger's Helmet, the visor looked like a penis. I'M SORRY, but it really does... And the fact that them brought Bulk and Spike is the stupidest idea ever. I mean, where do them come in and why? Comic relief? What they do is kind of embarassing for the show.

Goseigers is about magic and stuff, so I know they did it already with Mystic Force, but cut it? I like seeing new outfits and weapons. Gokeiger is really good, because it remembers all of the other Sentai season and seeing girls in male uniforms ROCK.First: Goseiger and under Gokeiger
