Lollipop, lollipop, Oh lolli lollipop!

People have nothing to do these days, so why not try to builf the biggest item of anything in the world! Today I present you the world largest lollipop from See's Candies. It's 7,200 lbs and it's chocolat flavor. Personnaly, I prefer strawberry, melon and butterscotch.

Le monde aime rien faire, alors pourquoi ne pas fabriqué le plus gros suçons au monde! Aujourd'hui je vous présente un lolli qui pèse 7 200 livres de See's Candies. La saveur est au chocolat. Personnellement, je préfère fraise, melon et caramel anglais.


I'm 5'1". I feel so tiny! Sometimes, the biggest whatever can be useful, like the biggest pizza servec at a party for the whole city or the world biggest daiquiri for a bar openning, but this? It it kind of wasteful!

A cupcake you can wear

I was surfing the web like any other person and I found this:

A cupcake blanket. Yes you read right. I thought Snuggies were awful, but this? You know what, I would get this as a joke for myself and then wear it outside with a ski mask to scare kids. Just kidding! But at 89 $ it's still a funny joke.

Gummy bear dress: SWEEEEEET

For the first issue of Twelv magazine, the staff created a dress made out of 50 000 gummy bears!!! It weights 200 pounds and it needs 3 adults to move. The insperation for this masterpiece is Alexander McQueen, the great british designer who passed away a couple of years ago. After gummy bears on sticks and jumbo ones, the fad is continuing.

Taking three weeks to complete, the final dress was fitted exactly to MAJOR model Jessica Pitti's measurements. And weighing in at approximately 220 pounds, required the strength of three adults to move.

The shoot was held at Splashlight Studios and took 4 to 5 hours to complete.

Critique Broadway Cheesecake

Bon, vous savez, je suis une bébitte à sucre. Je n'arrête pas d'acheter des sucreries et des gourmandises....d'ailleurs je dois arrêter si je veux avoir de l'allure cet été... Un de mes desserts préférés c'Est le gâteau au fromage. Le fameux cheesecake. À date dans ma vie, j'ai pu goûter le produit de différent endroit, en voici une liste: Ma mère (délicieux), cel de mon employeur (WOW), le Caffucino de Sherbrooke (ça fait un bout, mais je pense qu'il est bon), le Datoni de Sherbrooke (vraiment bon, bonne croûte à la canelle, Chez Dunn's (je croyais le fameux Cheesecake de l'époque de mes parents, mais c'Est chez Reubens que je dois aller... DEMAIN!), un gâteau du Super C et au Roi du Smoke Meat (vraiment poche).

Ma tante m'a indiqué qu'il y a vait à MTL et à Laval un endroit qui s'appelle le Broadway Cheesecake. J'ai regardé leur dite et j'étais surprise de leurs choix ex: pâte à biscuit, lcassique, vanille, Kit kat, Cerise, Carotte, Banane et rhum, etc. Il y a un resto sur la rue Kennedy à MTL.



 J'ai décider de m'y rendre avec l'idée de me prendre un gâteau aux cerises. NIET pas toutes les saveurs sont là. Alors je me rabat sur le Classique: un cheesecake avec une gelée de fraise

Ils les vendent déjà dans les boîtes de plastique. Petite portion pour un total de 5.50 $. Il y a un mois, c'était 4.99 sans taxe et maintenant c'Est 5.25$.

Et bien, je peux vous dire que ce n'est pas le meilleur gâteau au monde. La croute a un petit goût de canelle et la gelée et typiquement jello. La texture est bonne, mais je n'ai pas raffolé. Je voulais y essayer, car il n'y a pas ça à Sherbrooke. Bon done it and forget it.

Like I said, good for at good prices. The chinese donut was really good, but kind of wet, you know because of the oil.

The custard bread,was white bread with cream, but the bread was so fluffy it was delicious and the mini fried dow with custard was really good. (im repeating myself :) I haven't trien the coconut breads, but I'm sure I'll like them too!



UPDATE: the coconut bun was ok, I was surprise of the chucks of coconut. The coconut bread didn't had much of the sweet coconut, I wanted more. Another visit is required ;)

Hello Kitty Magazine Cover!

Did you see the new covers for ELLE Taiwan? They had a shoot with a model in a Hello Kitty costume! Here are some pictures

Taiwan is know for having theme places like restaurants and hotels. They have Hello kitty themed restaurants, hotels and even a hospital! Being a HK fan, I would like to go and visit those places, they just look so inviting. These costumes are very pretty and more glamour then the ones on eBay! HK is truly an icon and has as much star power then Barbie or even more, I mean she's the ambassador of Japan! You can get tons of HK merch with twisted desing and hommages. Some people make fun of me or really find me cute when I say I love HK, but who can't she is just so cute ^^
