A new Montreal experience

Some will say "get over it" or "you get use to", but today I've experience an incident in the metro. For the first time in my life (maybe not the last time, crap) a waiting game in the MTL metro. Situation: I got on board and I'm waiting. Then, the music comes on to tell us that there's been an incident on the orange line (my line), but in the opposite direction. So I'm telling myself "Ohhh it won'.t be so long, it's not ever my direction" BUT BOOOOOOO! The whole orange line was stopped and for 45 minutes, making me late for work. Since i,m new in MTl and Laval, I felt kind of helpless, because I didn't know what to do.... I couldn't take the bus, since i'm going to downtown MTL. My relatives were not near.

So...... I almost had a panic attak, because I felt helpless. BUT I sucked it up, because hey! crying won't get me anywhere. Eventually the metro moved and I got to work 30 minutes late. So that was my morning today. I know I will get use to it, I'm here 4 months, but sometimes it just blows me away! And I miss my hometown.

It's funny, I just remembered that one of my friends comes from MTl, so she is use to the metro. (my famous friend J) but in sherbrooke, she will critize the buses. ???? What? You come from the city of transport problems and you hate the buses???
