After the walk, we went to the Empire State Building. As always the view is simply amazing and the winds are really strong!
After That, we went on 34th street to go to Macy's. We stopped along the way to visit stores we don't have in Canada. REally nice stuff!!! The experience of Macy's was kind of overwhelming, man there was people! Nice clothes, love the colors and the style, because of the number of people and the fatigue, clothes shopping didn't come to mind..
Second day: 4 hours of bus trip. Finally got to see the new Harlem. They really change their district and made it cleaner and pretty. After that, it was a trip down the finacial part of town. But since the Occupy Wall Street, the Bull and George Washington were off limits. We took the route the victims from the 9/11 took when the Towers fell straight to Pier 17. I can't imagine the horror and the fear everybody felt that day... On a lighter note, Pier 17 is a great place. I ate a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. AMAZING, I know why my boyfriend loves them so much.
From there, we headed to the Staten Island Ferry for an around trip to pass by the Statue Of LibertyAfter that lovely trip, we headed to Ground Zero for a history lesson. Our guide knows so much stuff! It was reat to hear of the history around this sad event. Than after, it was straight to Chinatown for some dinning on Mulberry Street (Little Italy) and to be harassed by Asian women.... The food was fantastic. Me and Jessika went to a place called Da Nico, I had fried calamary, because the last tim I went I had that and it was great :) I also initiated my cousin and Jessika to the canoli, one of the many great Italian desserts :) After that, we did our NY by night tour with amazing views of Time Square and NY. (FINALLY visited the M&M Store!!!!!! Bought M&M and visited and took pictures. Now I can say I went)
On the last day, we had free time to shop in Time Square: FINALLY went to Hersey's and Toy R Us, that place is amazing!!!! Giant T-rex that moves-> AWESOME. This trip was better than the one I did 4 years ago and I'm really happy I went with my great group of friends. And like I said, I need a fourt trip :D
