Super late makeup palette look!!

That feeling when you know you have to post something and you just let it go. Yup that is me. Sorry for the late looks. Started aikido again so thats 2 nights to forget. So let's get doen to businesse:

From the Revlon palette my looks from last week:

Sparkles on the corner!!

Most of the weeks looks were basic colors with eyeliner. This week was anotherrevlon palette, but lazy as I am. No pics were taken. I think it is because with the lack of time in the morning and trying to find a look, I just push it back. Hope next week will be better!

Revlon Select Testing: ShadowLinks

AS my ongoing task for Revlon, I've got the chance to try out there new ShadowLinks eye shadow. When I got them in the mail, the first thought was : " OMG they are so cute!!"
Available in 30 different shades and in 4 finishes, Revlon is calling to your creative side, because you can create the ensemble you want. When I was on there website and I was choosing my palette, I saw they had an example palette. I just loved the color combination Revlon made. I clairly chose those color as you can see on the picture and put it a lovely mauve shadow wit some shimmer.

Once my palette was in my hand, I tried to recreate the look I saw on the Revlon website.

The copper and yellow-ish colors spread well. my only bad review is the black mate shadow. I don't find it rich enough. I like the mate look, all of my black shadows are shimmery, but I wish the black shadow would stand out more. Besides that, the rest is just great. With the interchangeble shadows, you can bring exactly the palette you want ANYWHERE: vacation, prom, photoshoot, picnic, Halloween Party, name it, you can.

Thanks Revlon Canada for the chance to try and tell. I love doing this :)

Getting crazy with nail art for NYC!

Going to NYC this weekend with some girlfriends! I wanted to do something for my nails and I knew I still had leftovers form the Marchesa for Revlon collection. So I let my imagination go and even chose a pastel color because they are in season for spring!

I hope they will stay until Sunday and throught 1 day of work!

Critique: Marchesa for Revlon Nail art

Thanks to Revlon Canada, I got the chance to try the new Marchesa for Revlon 3D nail art. Usually, nail stickers really don't work for me, because I use my hands a lot at picking stuff and doing arts and crafts. Last time I put a full set of stickers, they lasted 30 seconds.

so the product looks like this out of the box

It comes with 2 sheets, a nail filer/polisher and a cuticle puscher (don't know the real name -_-). The instractions are simple: put on nail, not on skin and cuticles. See? Nothing complicated.

but I do recommend a pair of cuticle cutters or really tiny scissors to cut off the excess instead of filling down. It gives a nicer finish. Also the great thing is if you have small nails, you can use only one sheet of stickers thats where the scissors come in handy.

Here is the finish:

Not bad really. There are sticking pretty good. My mom really thinks they are gorgeous, she even called them sexy!!

The next test will be shower water, one on the many enemis of nail art!
