Revlon Select Testing: ShadowLinks

AS my ongoing task for Revlon, I've got the chance to try out there new ShadowLinks eye shadow. When I got them in the mail, the first thought was : " OMG they are so cute!!"

Available in 30 different shades and in 4 finishes, Revlon is calling to your creative side, because you can create the ensemble you want. When I was on there website and I was choosing my palette, I saw they had an example palette. I just loved the color combination Revlon made. I clairly chose those color as you can see on the picture and put it a lovely mauve shadow wit some shimmer. 

Once my palette was in my hand, I tried to recreate the look I saw on the Revlon website.

The copper and yellow-ish colors spread well. my only bad review is the black mate shadow. I don't find it rich enough. I like the mate look, all of my black shadows are shimmery, but I wish the black shadow would stand out more. Besides that, the rest is just great. With the interchangeble shadows, you can bring exactly the palette you want ANYWHERE: vacation, prom, photoshoot, picnic, Halloween Party, name it, you can.

REview REvlon Chroma chameleon

Got the chance to have REvlon products again!!!! This time it was nail polish:

For the first try, I choose the Chroma Chameleon in rose gold:

The bottle seems so have tones of blue and gold, but when you put it on, it's all gold and no rosy tint. The product goes on smooth and you need at least 3 coats for a good finish. Its been 4 days and it started to chip after 3 days, so good quality. can't wait to test the other product!

Test du fond de teint REvlon Photoready airbrush mousse

Bon premièrement, ma peau du visage est très capricieuse. Je me rappelle, il y a quelques années, j'ai étté cobaye pour une étudiante en esthétique. Elle devait me maquiller. La réaction sur son visage quand elle a mit le fond teint était dépressif, tu voyais qu'elle paniquait, car ma peau voulais rien savoir.

Je vous explique, j'ai une peau mixte, sensible avec acnée et déshydraté. Certains fonds de teint plum sur mon visage, ça paraît si je mets du fond de teint, le résultat n'est pas lisse et airbrushé.

Alors avec espoir de trouver un bon fond de teint, je me suis procurer le Revlon Photoready airbrush mousse. J'ai eu un peu de problème avec des fond en mousse, mais j'ai décidé d'essayer encore.

Ouin, la mousse ne ressemble pas à ça! C'est encore plus poreux. Bon, j'ai appliqué le produit avec mes doights en tapotant. MAUVAISE IDÉE.  Ce fond de teint mousse est plus liquide et prend du temps pour pénétrer. Résultat??? DÉSASTRE Je ne sais pas comment je peux décrire me visage, mais erk!

Deuxième tentative: avec une éponge, car je me suis dit: la mousse comme du produit nettoyant, alors t'as besoin d'une éponge. ET ça tout règlé! KJe me sens tellement mieux! Il ne faut perdre espoir, mais je garantie que je ne l'achète plus!

Revlon Selects: Expressionist nail art

Hello! Here is my review of Revlon's Expressionist nail art combo. Just like the Moon Candy nail duo, this nail color has two compartements:

The purple is the main color and the gold is used to make nail art because the brush is smaller than the other one. Here is the color and the finish art work. I didn't want to be to artsy because of my bad luck with nail polish:

All around, I prefer this nail art combo than the other one (Moon Candy). The colors last longer, even after a shower. No major chipping and the choice of colors are great. My boyfriend liked the purple and gold combo because it reminds him of the Los Angeles Kings. It is a good was to express your artsy side ;)

Revlon Selects: Photoready eyeshadow

next on the Revlon Selects challenge: the eyes!!! The palette of choice: Metropolitain.

How it works: the eyshadow has a primer, a base and highlights. This is the result:

It has a nice shine to it, but the highlights are almost just sparkles and tend to go everywear. But this is a good product because it last long and you get 5 products in 1.

You can get the REvlon Photoready Eyeshadow in department stores and the kit is available in mumerous colors.

Selected for Revlon Selects!

Wooohoo!!! Thanks to Revlon, I will have my first experience as a beauty tester!! I got a message saying that I was selected, among others, to try Revlon products!!!!!

So that's what I will do! Future blog post and Twitter post will be about the products I tested.
