Pokemon shoes! I choose you!

When I was young, we had 151 pokemon. Now there are over 9000!!! (See here, mem joke!) Not but now it has exploded, but people get inspired by these new pokemon and create pretty awesome things like cosplay and fashion. Here is a great example:

THese shoes are from Joco Comendador a new shoe designer and he got inspired by Ombreon. I think these booties are awesome, I would totally wear them. I wish he does more of these! But at 200 $ a pair, I can still dream!

One day, ONE DAY, when I have the time and the money to chop comics and buy sweet shoes, I will do this and rock your world!!

DIY Killer Comic Book Heels
Time: Eight hours per shoe 

Mod Podge

Vinyl Shoes:
Comics: Already owned 

Cut up a few comics into jagged, odd pieces. Use Mod Podge and a paint brush to stick. Tackle the heels and edges first, keeping the lines nice and straight, then fill in the gaps with bigger feature pieces. You can try a theme if you like (Avengers heels anyone?) but I just went generic for my first try. Use thinner strips on the curves or you’ll get bumps.

Save some fine cut feature words, speech bubbles and/or characters to really stand out as a final touch. Patience and a steady hand are key here! You can use a craft knife but I used scissors like a boss.

Fill in the platform or don’t, leave the heel blank or don’t. YOU ARE THE MASTER OF YOUR OWN DESTINY.

When completely covered, coat in matte or gloss Mod Podge and leave to dry overnight. Coat once more and leave for a day.

Wear. Be fabulous. SUCCEED.
