Pokemon pillows are HUGE!!

Man, there are so much cool thing now that I`m an adult that I would like to have when I was a kid. When I was smaller, I had some Pikachu items like the best backpack EVER!!!! But briging a backpack to sleep with is not the best idea with all the strapes and stuff.

Lord and behold in 2014, my problem is solves with Pokemon pillows/beds!! Those are massive!! I mean looking at Snorlax, you would say to yourself :"Man he looks comfy!" Now you get to know on your own!!

The Snorlax was a commission from an Etsy shop, not sure it is still available and the Pikachu has been sold out from a website in Japan. The price was 371$.

The best pokemon to use as a starter thanks to science

Have you heard the news? Scientists have answered the long lost question of pokemon games: which starter must I use???

Even with a new Pokemon game out, you always have to choose between water, fire and grass pokemon, except for Yellow where you have Pikachu.

Going back to the begining, we had Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle. Now the Scientists from Scientific American have concluded that SQUIRTLE is the best starter option thanks to complicated charts:



So here, science proves that water starters are better. But I'm pretty sure everyone is gonna take fire anyway ;)

Otakuthon Cosplay!

Well, first Otakuthon ever last weekend and I brought my Articuno and Dekayellow cosplays! Did the Masquarade in the Articuno cosplay, but won nothing. Guess I have to upgrade my skills :/ ANYWHO

Articuno update!

Sooooo being in mtl and having nothing else to do, I'm working on my cosplays! Been working on Articuno lately and I've done 2 things so far. (Woohoo) The wings are done sewing, just wondering if i'll will paint them. and I also have to find a way to stick them to my arms, but I'm pretty sure I have an idea for that.

Next was the head piece:

Cosplay update #2

Here is Articuno! The boots are almost finish. Need to do wings and head piece. Tail is almost done, just need to sew to back. All in all, good progression :)

Cosplay update!

Sooooooooooooooooooo making my cosplays for Otakuthon 2013! First time going there! First was Articuno, the pokemon. Well, the body suit is done. Need to do: wings, head piece, tail and feet and white mark. So far the boots are being transformed into bird feet, but I have to find liquid latex -_-...

Second is SPD Yellow Power Ranger: here is an image:

The body suit is done, have to put in the zipper. The rest is the badges, the boots and the morpher.

New Cosplay projects!

I'm such a rebel. Well not really, the only bad thing I just did is to buy my fabric before I got my pattern WHICH BTW I COULD HAVE BOUGHT IN SHERBROOKE INSTEAD OF THE WWW AND TAKING FOR EVER!

First! SPD Yellow with no helmet

After seeing a phoenix cosplay on the Instructable.com i fell in love with, I'll be trying to become Articuno from Pokemon first generation

Two very different projects but if I went throught the Dino Thunder one and survived I can do this, plus by using the same parttern and turning it for the SPD costume.

Here are my earrings for the day, silver swurls that were once gold... TRue story!

Found on the Mary Sue website : Cosplay for your eyes! Beautiful colors and great geekness! The artist is Jangsara and she usually does geek inspired makeup like Avengers and Pokemon.

Pokemon shoes! I choose you!

When I was young, we had 151 pokemon. Now there are over 9000!!! (See here, mem joke!) Not but now it has exploded, but people get inspired by these new pokemon and create pretty awesome things like cosplay and fashion. Here is a great example:

THese shoes are from Joco Comendador a new shoe designer and he got inspired by Ombreon. I think these booties are awesome, I would totally wear them. I wish he does more of these! But at 200 $ a pair, I can still dream!
