Testing Michelle Phan: Angel Baby Tutorial

I love Michelle Phan and her videos. She makes it look so simple to achieve a super fashion look. I've tried some of her tutorials before and I just wanted to show some to you through the blog. So I tried the Angel Baby Tutorial that came out on November 22, 2013. It's a super soft look. Unfortunatly, I don't have a icy blue color, so I used a white color for the base. It looks nice, but behind glasses not to much. Mayby with the icy blue it would have been better. Still, there are so many other tutorials to try and count on me to do so!

Revlon Selects: Expressionist nail art

Hello! Here is my review of Revlon's Expressionist nail art combo. Just like the Moon Candy nail duo, this nail color has two compartements:
The purple is the main color and the gold is used to make nail art because the brush is smaller than the other one. Here is the color and the finish art work. I didn't want to be to artsy because of my bad luck with nail polish:

All around, I prefer this nail art combo than the other one (Moon Candy). The colors last longer, even after a shower. No major chipping and the choice of colors are great. My boyfriend liked the purple and gold combo because it reminds him of the Los Angeles Kings. It is a good was to express your artsy side ;)

Sephora Haul!!!

As you may know, Sephora and Tokidoki just stopped their collaboration this year. (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) And they put all the makeup on sale. Me, having trouble with the website (stupid update!) I couldn't get the makeup palettes I wanted, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr So after some searching, I got the chance to put my hands on some products.

I present you the Lip gloss trio and the set of 3 brushes.

I'm happy, still wished I had the chance to snatch the London and Travel palettes.... Oh well!

Jewelery Challenge Day 2: Lazy red

The sun isn't shinning outside, so my jewels are not super flashy. I'm like liquidating the boring stuff first :P

Mascara reviews: Rimmel Volume flash The MAX

For my next review, I've tried Rimmel London's Volume Flash the MAX in waterproof.

What would we do if we didn't have waterproof mascara??? My boyfriend always arguments me about the product, because, in his mind, ladies should always wear waterproof mascaras, because he is sick of hearing girls saying "I can't cry because my mascara is going to fall off." I try to tell him that the components in waterproof mascara can alter the special components that makes the mascara unique like curl power or volume.

So here is what it looks like on me:

My lashes don't look as fuller as the Pupa mascara review. The big brush does coat every lash and the finish is neat. The waterproof aspect is sometimes challenged. It resists tears, but pools and sometimes lakes can cause it to flaque. I prefer this mascara than the Sexy Curves one, because the SC's wand is stupid... Don't get me wrong! Having a crease in the brush where mascara builds up and clumps lashes is a no-no for me.  Not the best mascara, but it does the job.

Mascara reviews: Pupa Ultraflex Curl

Wearing glasses and mascara somtimes dosen't mix. I have to choose wisely because my lashes can touch the lens and dirty it, so I can really have really long doll lashes! I have to curl my lashes and with the different types of mascaras I have, I get different results. My first review is for the Ultraflex Curl from Pupa.

As you know, love Pupa! It's one of my favorite makeup brand for its makeup kit and Miss Milkie line. So I've decided to try this mascara, because it promises to curl your lashes with super Italian technology...! Well here is the result: (BTW, the brush has one longer side)

I sometimes have clumping problems and the longer side of the brush dosen't help on the declumping. But I do notice that my lashes are more vampy and full, kind of like The Falsies from Maybeline. My mascara is old (I know I should throught it away...) so some residu occurs sometimes, but it still last long. I wore it for my prom :)

My next reviews will be on Rimmel mascar, CoverGirl and Maybeline

Discovery: House of Siren

Just watched ATNM and saw one of hong Kong's best fashion houses: House of Siren.

It's a costume shop, but the clothes are som AWESOME! If you saw the show, you know hat I mean :) The Marie Antoinette dress looked great on Sophie. The red dress was amazing on Laura. The banana bikini was kind of cliché on Annaliese.  Loving cosplay and dress, i would love to try some of there costumes!!!

Ode to Clin d'oeil magazine

Clin d'oeil magazine is one of Quebec most famoush fashion mags. It is also the first. I've been reading them since 2008 and I have kept all of their magazines. I really love reading mags, the pictures, the fashio, the beauty and the articles are so eye catching. It's one of the reasons I want to work in the beauty and fashion industry. The possibility to touch luxury fabrics, to try on jewelery worth more than a car, trying beauty products!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! My dream!

With Clin d'oeil, it's a lot about the women who read the publication. While they have high fashion, they also have good budget fashion. They help the community with funraiser and donations. It's not like reading Vogue or ELLE where the lowest costing item is 50$. They know that they need to diversify the content to remain on top.

They help me with what's in fashion and how to take care of myself. The article acn come and grab you be the heart or just make you laugh. I don't hesitate and say to futur employers take I want to work in fashion and I know I'm not  a high profil person, but I know where I want to go.

Sephora Tokidoki Haul

Sephora is a beautiful thing, it's even better when it's online :) Being a beauty junky (who isn't?) I fell in Sephora's web and got myself Tokidoki makeup sets and gloss.  For the value, you get a lot of stuff taht could add up if you buy seperatly. And let's just say, I was really, really, REALLY happy when the package came by!

Tokidoki Soda Shop Palette, Robery Palette et/and Gloss in Burger.

Both sets come in a metal box and have magnets. //// Chaque ensemble comprend des aimants et vient dans un contenant de métal.

My Tokidoki Collection

Hello! FIRST!!! Hihi I just want to share one part of my Tokidoki Collection. Here is the Moofia: the Moofia mission is to take away milk from bad kids and give them to the good ones. There are 10 regular figures and 3 rares ones. The heads of the Moofia are Mozzarella and Bulletto. I was lucky enough to get my hands on 5 of them:
From left to right: Moo Moo, Milk, Bibekun, Miruku and Latte

Lately, I had the chance to get Choco, who looks like this. The others are Leche, Soya and 3 rare ones who are Rice milk, Strawberry and Half & Half: (Picture from Flickr, Artist: p!ng)
Do you just like Ebay??? And they, don't you just hate it when you loose an auction at the last minute??? Yep, that's Ebay for ya ^^

UPDATE! I got my Choco character :D and I just bought Soya... Ebay is dangerous...
