Review: Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polish

Hey!! That's to Revlon Canada, I was able to test their new product, Revlon Parfumerie scented nail enamel.THe bootle looks like a perfum bottle OHHH so CUTE.

Thanks to their beauty scientists (made that up), the nail polish leaves a scent once it is dry. My color was a steel blue and the scent was Moonlit woods.

You really must wait until the polish is dry because you will be faced with the usual chemical smell. But once it is dry, it's amazing! It didn't smell like the woods, but I did remind me of a certain perfum. My mom also couldn't believe it. The smell lasts for one day, which is the only bad side of the product.

Revlon Parfumerie is available in 19 shades and scents like Italian Leather, Autumn Spice and Wild Violette. Limited edition though...

Review: Ciaté Chalkboard Manicure

I remember the day I saw that Ciaté lauched a manicure set where you can draw on your nails like a school chalkboard. I went crazy, me, a lover of wacky cute things and a lover of nail polish. So when I saw a box of that special nail lacquer, I flipped and bought it on the spot.

It come with 4 chalk pens, a black mat polish and a white top coat. First, you must put two coats of black mat polish:

And then, you shake and press the colors on your nails. It's not easy at first because the colors are pale and don't always come out in a steady stream.

Yes, my skills need improuvement, but it's the first time. I can improuve, proof, my Revlon skills are getting better! :) Whats also cool about the product, is that if you miss your drawing, you can wipe away the color with water. For artistique people, it's a great product.

The only down side, MAN! it dosen,t last long. Two days top for me. And I didn't do anything out of the ordinary with my hands...

ANYWHO, can't wait to try more Ciaté products like velvet nail, perle nails or whatever ;)

REview REvlon Chroma chameleon

Got the chance to have REvlon products again!!!! This time it was nail polish:

For the first try, I choose the Chroma Chameleon in rose gold:

The bottle seems so have tones of blue and gold, but when you put it on, it's all gold and no rosy tint. The product goes on smooth and you need at least 3 coats for a good finish. Its been 4 days and it started to chip after 3 days, so good quality. can't wait to test the other product!

Got to love Wnners!!! In December, I bought an Anna Sui nail lacquer for 8$. Two months later, they are on special!!! So what a girl to do? Buy more!

After that, you know I'm sweet :3 so I found the Snow Woman Vanilla deloght from Cake Beauty also on sale! 5$ I'm in love!

Revlon Selects: Expressionist nail art

Hello! Here is my review of Revlon's Expressionist nail art combo. Just like the Moon Candy nail duo, this nail color has two compartements:

The purple is the main color and the gold is used to make nail art because the brush is smaller than the other one. Here is the color and the finish art work. I didn't want to be to artsy because of my bad luck with nail polish:

All around, I prefer this nail art combo than the other one (Moon Candy). The colors last longer, even after a shower. No major chipping and the choice of colors are great. My boyfriend liked the purple and gold combo because it reminds him of the Los Angeles Kings. It is a good was to express your artsy side ;)

Revlon Selects Nail art test

Like I mentioned before, I was selected for Revlon Selects. Firtsa thing I tried was the nail art duo in Moon Candy

I usually not lucky when putting Nail polish. I put it on and 30 seconds later, there's a chip. BIG CRAP! I have one Revlon nail polish in black and it didn't chip after 30 seconds, so there is hope!

To make this look happen, I primed my nail with Sally Hansen nail base. After I went with color number 1.

So far so good. Next step, the moon crystals! OOOH like sailor moon!!!

The crystals are now very present on my nails because maybe of the darknest of the color and the light color of the crystals. So I'm 2 days in with the nail polish and 1 crystal chipped, but that's it. It's still holding strong! Can want to try the Expressionist nail art!!!
