JC day 37-38: Busy two days!

YEP Wenesday was the Show de la Rentrée at the University and the artists invited were Orange Orange and Mister Valaire. I never saw Mister Valaire in person, but I have to say THEY ROCK! Super energy on stage and themusic is great to listen to.

I had a thing for beeds this week end and jewelery shows it! On the 28 i'm starting my new intership and I can't wait! I'm motivated to start! ANNNND I still have many jewelery possibilities :)

JC day 28-29: Wow 3 weeks!

Yellow internet! 3 weeks into the Challenge and I'm still wondering if my earrings will outlast my necklaces! My strategy is to use all of the less WOW jewelery so the wow pieces will be used during my internship which starts in  ONE WEEK!

Jewelery Challenge Day 1: Rules and why?

Why challenge myself to a jewelery challenge? Well, I recently had a jewelery haul and sometimes I rediscover jewels that I hid somewhere. I also have the impression that I'm always wearing the same things but with a 3 weeks rotation. SOOOO I decided to challenge my jewelery collection.

RULES

1. The challenge only applies to earrings and necklaces. Bracelets, rings and watches are not considered in the challenge because for 1 bracelet, I have 200 earrings. (close to 200.......)
2. I shall wear a different pair of earings and/or necklace everyday for as long as I can. If I wear something twice, I lose... nothing, but the fact I can't complete a challenge.
3. I will document my days with the blog
4. If I decide to wear one piece for only a short period of time, it still counts and I can't wear it anymore.
5. Weekends do not escape the challenge
6. If I don't wear jewelery one day, i'm still fine :)
7. I'll try not to buy new jewelery....
8. Wish me luck!

It's time to sew!

OK NOW! I have finally made up my mind. I will learn how to sew. You may remember a post about the joys of sewing a few months back and how I now feel for people how have to sew for a living. But now, I motivated to perfect my skills (beginner skills :P) and maybe start a past-time and finally make some cosplay.

My fisrt project is from Power Ranger or Super Sentai if you like and it will be Ninja Storm's light blue ranger AKA Tori

No helmet or sword for my first sewing project. I will have to find a way to do the blue wirst cuff and I'll have to find boots. Thank God for spray paint, because I don't think I'll be able to find those specific boots. I'll try to post my progress on Sweet Shinobi and also the final results! All for Montreal Comic Con! If I have time, I'll try to do Jungle Fury Yellow, but if not, probably the Progressive Girl Flo, she's awesome :)
