Animal head shape purses are awesome

While browsing the interwebs, I found an article on Fashionably Geek about an Etsy designer making purses shaped like animal heads. I mean aren't they AWESOME!!

For all animal lovers, these bags can come in cat shapes, dog heads and even racoon. I guess you just need to have a round shape animal head and you're settled!! I would totally have a cat head. I wonder if I could have a shark?? You know, the picture of a Great White jumping out of the sea.

The artist, Ben Tsang can also make custom orders for the people who REALLY love their pets and want them on their purses.

Prices start at 40 $ + shipping and 86 $ for custom work. And OMG THEY HAVE A RED PANDA!!! SQUEEEEEEEE

MArtin Lim à la Semaine de la mode de MTL

L'année dernière, à pareil date, j'étais à Montréal et j'étais stagiaire pour la Banque Laurentienne. Je voulais faire quelque chose que je ne pouvais pas faire à Sherbrooke et j'ai décidé d'assister à mon premier défilé de mode: Martin Lim.

Je n'avais jamais entendu parler de ce duo de designer (Pao Lim et Danielle Martin). Sur place, j'ai constaté que la force de la marque était la fluidité et les coupes. Les robes, pas extravagantes, étaient bien structurées et semblaient flotter dans l'air. Martin Lim a connu du succès surtout avec leur collaboration avec Reitmans pour une collection de robe de Noël (j'aurai dû m'en procurer un...) Pour la nouvelle année 2013, je suis à Sherbrooke, mais j'ai vu des images de leur nouvelle défilé et collection, voici mes coups de coeur:

Très fluide, avec des coupes structurées et des accents de couleur aux bonnes places!

Gosh, I'm really happy that I'm getting sewing courses! You know why?? Because I could make my own Geek Dresses!!! I saw some on the web and I think they're awesome!

I got my shoes from Beyond the Rack today!!!!! These wedges are from Michael Antonis and they are truly amazing with the colors!

JC day 20: Culture shock!

Sunday the 12th was the last day for the Festival des traditions du monde de Sherbrooke. This time, I wanterd to see the most shows and new cultures! I also ate for the first time Vietnamese food. A shrimp donut, noodles, a spring roll and salad. The donut was really good!

I got to see a Ukranian dance show and a Chinese fashion parade + dance. REally a great experience.

JC day 10: Festival Mode et Design

Bonjour!!! Voici mes bijoux pour le dixième jour de mon challenge!!! Aztech orange!

Jeudi dernier, le 2 août, moi et ma très bonne amie Jessika du Blogue VIBE! sommes allé à MTL pour participer au festival mode et design. Pour moi, c'était ma première expérience. Je suis déjà aller à la semaine de la mode en février dernier, mais jamais à ce festival. Ce festival se déroulait du 1 au 4 août sur la rue MCGill College, à deux pas de mon ancien stage!!! C'est un festival pour nous présenter les dernières créations de nos designers d'ici ainsi que les look d'automne des grands magasins. Voici quelques photos:

Nous avions eu la chance de se faire prendre en photo pour montrer nos looks et surtout nos chaussures! sur la scène ci-dessus, il y a eu le défilé Lolë

Dans les rues, des bus du STM vintage étaient décorés selon les designers, voici OLDWIG un magasin de vintage

Le soir, nous avions assisté au défilé Trans/paraître. C'était un mélange de plein de designer. La plus part des vêtements étaient trop simple, comme Ça va de soi, leurs linges trop relax. Mais la ligne Lyn avec leur tricot immense me font rappeler YSL.

Disney goes fashion

Ever wanted to be a princess? I wanted to be Mulan when I was smaller because Mushu was the bomb! But now growing up, I've lost interest compared to others who seem to by still wonderstruck. One thing I will always like are the dresses! And I recently found on Geekologie some sketches of Fashion Disney Characters made by a Deviant Art user Sashii-Kami:


Mulan looks aweful.... But the concept is cool none the less!

A cupcake blanket. Yes you read right. I thought Snuggies were awful, but this? You know what, I would get this as a joke for myself and then wear it outside with a ski mask to scare kids. Just kidding! But at 89 $ it's still a funny joke.
