WIP Jetman yellow

Soooo it was my first time making boot covers for a Power ranger cosplay. I've always been painting boots and I hated it when the craked right at the toes. So I decided to one up my cosplay skills and try boot covers.

My first attempt was good, but I noticed that the portion on fabric to cover my shoe was to small. So some quick thinking later, I decided to make some socks/shoe covers and then attached the rest of the boot. Here is the final result ( i don't know if I'll sew the sock to the leg because it still works, I have 3 months to think about it :) )

First sewing project by myself!

Hello! Since working in MTL, I been trying to sew to keep my skills. It's not that easy! Being lazy is a big part of why I'm not doing as much as I wanted! I was thinking of doing wayyyy more project then 1 + cosplay.

so here is my first dress without the tips from my sewing teacher. I can say that she tought me well!

Sewing Update

AS you may know, I recently challenged myself to make another Power Rangers cosplay. I chose Kira from Dino Thunder. Here is an update of the situation:

1. The outifit is done and gone!!! I tried it on a few time and I think the dress should have been shorter, but I can't do anything because all the decals are on.
2. I have to redo the gloves, at lest the right hand because my index finger is going to hate me....
3. My boyfriend is making the belt buckle and the hand guards. He is almost done.
4. The belt and the wrist bands are done
5. The boots are painted, but not yellow enough... WHY? I didn't have enough primer and got lazy so I decided to paint anyway...
6. Only the boot bands have to be done for next week, because on the 25th it's Gatineau for G-Anime!!!!

So my next project is not cosplay, even if I plan to make a SPD Yellow or Pink in the future. I'm making a summer dress with polka dot!!!! I saw by accident that polka dots are in fashion this Spring, well great for me!!

Geek dresses

Gosh, I'm really happy that I'm getting sewing courses! You know why?? Because I could make my own Geek Dresses!!! I saw some on the web and I think they're awesome!

Cosplay progress!!!!

Welllll, the outfit is almost done!!!!!!! Only the zipper, the cuffs, the belt and the logo to put :) Oh and I got my morpher!!!

Awesome, Awesome, AWESOME! The boots are almost done, just need to put the black rim. My boyfriend, will one day make the missing pieces... 

I tried them on... they crack so much -_-' I'm scared.... But Hey! I know what I'm doing for sunday: Flo the Progressinve girl!!
